A. Driver Portal App
- Location Data: Real-time precise (GPS) and
approximate location coordinates while a transit route is
active (both in the foreground and in the background).
- Profile Information: Driver name, phone
number, vehicle registration number, and credentials assigned
by the school.
- Device & Usage Data: Device
identifiers, operating system version, and system performance
logs (via Sentry).
B. Parent Portal App
- Student & Parent Records: Student
names, student IDs, parent names, email addresses, phone
numbers, and academic records (grades, attendance,
timetable).
- Financial Information: Log of tuition and
transport fee details, transactions, and invoice
statuses.
- Location Data: Access to the device's
location to show proximity to the school bus on the tracking
map (only in the foreground and optional).
C. Teacher Portal App
- Professional Records: Teacher name, email
address, phone number, and class assignments.
- Academic Content: Attendance logs,
homework details, timetable entries, and class gallery
photos.
D. Common Data Collected Automatically
- Push Notification Tokens: We collect FCM
(Firebase Cloud Messaging) tokens to send push notifications
such as homework updates, attendance alerts, and bus tracking
updates.
- Performance & Error Diagnostics: We
use Sentry to collect diagnostic data, crash logs, and
performance metrics to resolve application bugs.

Information
We use the collected information for school
administration and educational purposes, including:
- Real-Time Bus Tracking: Sharing the driver's
location to allow parents and school staff to track school bus
progress and receive notification alerts.

Driver Portal App

Required to read GPS locations for bus tracking.

Required to continue tracking the bus route when the screen
is turned off or when navigating with other apps.

6Data Security and
Retention
- Security: We implement industry-standard
encryption (HTTPS/SSL) to transmit data securely. Databases and
preferences are stored on secure servers with restricted

- Retention: We retain personal and academic
data for the duration of the student's enrollment at Emaad
School. Active route location data is temporary and is deleted
or archived securely once the route is marked complete.
7Children's Privacy
The Parent Portal
displays student records strictly to authorized parents and
school staff. We comply with educational privacy standards (such
as FERPA guidelines) to ensure children's academic and location
details are guarded with the highest level of security.
8User Rights and Controls
- Access & Correction: Parents, teachers,
and drivers can review and update their profiles via the app
settings.
- Revoking Permissions: You can disable
location tracking or notification permissions at any time
through your device settings, though this will disable bus
tracking and notifications.
- Account Deletion: Users can request the
deletion of their accounts and associated data by contacting
the school administration.
